Carol, I plan on being there as we will be racing on Friday Night at Auburndale, My nephew Michael Seeright is scheduled to run in ASA that night. I hope to finally be able to meet you.

Is this the ASA that ran at NSB with the crate motors or the “other” ASA?

ASA Southeast Tour is part of American Speed Association sanctioned series and is NOT associated with the ASA Late Model Series.

We interviewed Jeff Choquette and Jay Middleton in the first hour of last night’s (April 22) Real Racin USA LIVE! CLICK TO LISTEN!

Better have plenty of wreckers and rollbacks. If its anything like New Smyrna last year. I thought Chuck Rush was the promoter with his Crashorama show.

Will they ever run ministocks again at lakeland?

Allright Florida, a lot of you are always complaining about small late model fields in asphalt racing, This looks like a BIG one.

As long as it’s not the same Amateur Speed Association I saw at NSB I’m interested in going, although I wish there were some more last names like Choquette, Rogers, Anderson, Powell, McCleod, etc. on that list.

What’s the going rate to get in? $30 again?

$30 is still a joke. You can’t charge more than $20 for a show like this. Hell, I can go see the ARCA race at Rockingham for $30.

Other than Speedweeks, there isn’t a show that comes through Florida worth $30. Hell, $20 is too much.

Another example of “we can’t sell many tickets, so we’ll gouge the ones that do show up”. I’ll go to Ocala or VSP 3 times for the same money (and twice the entertainment)… you people are out of your minds.

Greedy, greedy. greedy…

Ticket prices for May 3rd - USA International

ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour

Moon Pie 125

May 3, 2008

5/3
Grandstand A Frontstretch… $30
Grandstand B Backstretch…
$20
Children 10 and Under…
$10
Adult Pit Admission…

I know it is alot but everything has gone up for everyone. Everyone has to pay the bills, even the tracks. But it will be a good show so hopefully some will come and others will go elsewhere. And yes, I get calls all the time asking if Dale Jr. is racing when we have a $20.00 night but you can’t get into a Cup race for $20.00 and we do have our own Dale Jr’s. You miss alot sometimes because of price and sometimes you feel like you have wasted your money but you have to go to find out.

See ya Carol - Jane

I wouldn’t complain too hard about the $30, it might be the show show you ever see at USA International Speedway.

Jack

Huh?

Osf

I think he meant “last” How ya doin’, ya old man???

Personally, I would say stay home for that price. With it being an ASA show, it should be on SPEEDNEWS Sunday night at 7:00.
