Ivedent Lloyd passed Shane Williams on the 48th lap to win the North Florida State Championship. Russell Brown driving his 00 hard in the closing laps took third.
That was the best race i’ve seen in a long time. Ivedent is SICK!! Tried Williams underneath for most of the race and with two to go, went around him on the high side! WOW!!!Russel Brown Jr., also put on a clinic on how to run up through the field!
RSB, why is Ivedent “SICK”?
He has used the high groove quite often, he was just setting Williams up by trying the low side so many times.
I don’t know about sick but he was dead tired on the front straight aftyer the race. He worked his tail off fo 30 laps or so. Bob…
I think he meant SLICK.
It means BAD ASS! C’mon you old geezers, get with the program!
Having two teenage daughters, one of whom is an avid racing and car enthusiast, I can attest to the terminology, “sick” and have seen it spelled three ways. (sic, sick and siq)
It is usually preceded by two other words, being “Dood, that’s…”
Typical application (usually delivered while admiring a “pimped out” car) would be, “Dood, that’s sick!” Translation: “I’m finding the configuration of either your appearance package and/or mechanical applications visually stimulating.”
End of lesson.:D:D:D
