Finally getting a chance to get some more photos uploaded… Quite a few more put up today from the IMCA Winternationals at Plant Field in Tampa from 1974-75… also a few more from Golden Gate and a few from Lake City Speedway…
I’m still looking for old photos… I’m really looking at pre-1990… I have nothing from Citrus, very few from Auburndale/Winter Haven, and really need some help with the north FL tracks like Lake City, Jax tracks, and old stuff from Columbia… Anything you send will be scanned and return promptly… I run a shipping dept. for a travel company, so I have no problem in getting all photos back to you in the same shape they were sent in (address is 1037 28th St., Orlando, FL 32805)… If you have scanned pix, just e-mail them to announcerdave@usa.net… Remember, right now I’m looking at photos pre-1990… Thanks to the many who have come on board to support the effort including Billy Cuddy, Dave Jarrett, Rip Dyal (All Auto Salvage), Alan Bruns, Marcel and Ryan Rust and the Adopt A Marine Program, Jacob Warren, Sonny Hartley, Eddie Roche, Marty Little, Gene Marderness, Andy Nicholls, Eric Deffendall, Pedie and Jared Allison, Jim Jones, Keith Abbott, Ken Hickson, Harold Frederick, David Hilliard, and everybody else especially Jack Smith!!

Dave, now that I’m online at home, I have TONS of old photos scanned from Hialeah to New Smyrna, Vero Beach to St. Pete, all categorzied by track. I just have to find a way to get them all to you…I guess I could copy them all onto CD or something and get 'em to you that way. I’d love to see all these photos preserved
Here’s just a few of what’s in my collection. I have TONS more from all over: the old Lakeland 1/4 mile (actually 1993), Palm Beach, the Governor’s Cup from Tampa in '72, '73, and '81, Inverness from 1985, mid-80’s DeSoto 200, and many more.

The #12 in the third picture looks like Billy Gill to me. The picture is not very clear, but I think I remember Billy always wearing that style of shoe.
The caption orginally with that photo says Ray Bontrager… But I agree with Kenny, it does look like Billy Gill… Jimmy Mc… I would love to have some of your pics on the site… Let me know if I can use them… I’ll let everybody else guess the photos you put up…
Thanks to Jimmy McKinley and Mr Westerman for getting back to posting the stuff I really want to see. The pics of the great cars and races I remember from a time forgotten. Keep em’ coming please!

In Jimmy’s pic the 49 might be Ronnie Pitts and the Amick car probably Leroy Porter, don’t know bout the rest of em.
