See if you can…
Car #1, Bill Kiett, an excellent short track driver and mechanic, and all-round good guy.
Is pic # 4 Richard Brinson?
IDs
That is the late Ken Powell of Jacksonville standing beside the # 9 Plymouth.
Good job so far… Pic #4 is not Richard Brinson although the driver is second generation also…
The pic of Bill Keitt was taken after his first-ever Thunder Car win at West Palm in 1980…
The shot of Ken Powell was taken at Jacksonville Speedway in 1967…
I can’t believe no one has gotten the driver of #26 yet…
pic #4 is Chip Crider
I am happy to see this again like you used to do on the old board. I dont know any of them but I enjoy the pics.
#26 is donnie tanner. he drove this for a short time instead of his #88.
Dang…
I was gonna guess Donnie Tanner or Dave Scarborough in the #26…not that I knew either one driving that car, it just looked like one of them…lol
David got Chip Crider - at NSS in 1980… He was a teammate that year to Jack Cook on the Bob’s Space Racers team… This photo was after his third straight LM win…
That is Donnie Tanner in the #26 which was owned by Billy Wade… This photo was right after a 100 lap Early Model win at Orlando Raceway on Halloween weekend 1967… This is the same car Donnie drove to a win earlier in the fall of 1967 at New Smyrna Speedway… He was the first driver to win a race on pavement there…
Can’t believe nobody remembers the flagman in the picture… He was a fixture in South FL for many years…
Flagman Pic
My guess is “Windy Meyers” from the old Hollywood Speedway on Pembroke Rd. Had to have one off his legs amputated but after recovery went bag to flagging. Think he passed away in the late 60’s. Just my guess.
Windy Myers flagged at Hollywood and also at West Palm I believe…
