Saturday night, June 28, 2008, the TBARA Winged Sprint Cars headline another weekend at the action attraction, citrus county speedway and you don?t want to miss this race before the July 5th break. Twenty plus, 800 horsepower rockets will pound asphalt at Florida?s premier 3/8ths mile Saturday night plus the sportsman, mini stocks, street stocks, 4 cylinder bombers and a wild and crazy suitcase race will have you in stitches. The drivers will make 6 circuits of the oval, stopping after each lap to put on one of 5 pieces of women?s clothing in the suitcase. First driver across the line fully dressed wins and then the fans will vote on the best dressed after it?s all over. Grandstand gates open at 4 and races take the green flag at 5:30. Citrus County Speedway is located on U.S. 41 south, at the fairgrounds in Inverness.
