It is interesting to see that Putnam County Speedway had 80 cars last week, including 23 OWM. It sounds like they had a good night, and hopefully the new management is steering things in the right direction.
I have not been there in a few years, but thought their car count was noteworthy because it is better than some other local tracks.
They were all there because I was announcing. LOL! Yeah, I doubt that. I think that the car count at Putnam should be an eye opener for some of the other tracks. Putnam was the only dirt track racing, and drivers came over a hundred miles to race. See? Not everyone is into spending all their money at Daytona!
BTW…I’ll see you all again at Putnam this Saturday.
