The young gun roundup was held at Newport Speedway today.
Seven drivers tested for the chance to compete in an upcoming Super Cup race.
All the drivers came and showed that they had the right stuff to suceed in racing.They came from five states and different racing backgrounds to compete in this competition. Open wheel-- dirt cars --late models–Mods.
were all represented well. The competitors made it very hard for the people judging this test.Anyone of these drivers could have taken the day.
All drivers recieved a Super Cup drivers license for their excellent perfromance. Their are so many talented people that never get a chance to even try. If anyone wants to give a driver a shot in their race car.
