I know this is a Southern board, BUT in Supermodified racing the Gibson name is as big as Andersons in late models. Dad Todd, and brother Gene Lee have been great Super drivers. Son and younger brother Terry and also a good friend to me lost his life in a bad wreck at Toledo Speedway last night in the MSA supermodified series race. A great person and hard competitor. Sometimes in this sport it gives us all a brutal reality check on what can happen in this sport that we all love to watch and follow. Good people sometime are taken from us early. Its out of our hands. God Speed Terry.
i hadnt heard. when i lived in michigan, i announced for a midget series, and the gibsons were regulars with us… hard competitiors, but good people. so sad.
You don’t have to know the family to feel the sadness when someone is lost in racing. My heart and prayers are with them all.
