late models return for 100 laps at CCMP 7-26

LATE MODELS RETURN FOR 100 LAPS OF ACTION PACKED RACING AT CCMP

Twenty two late models ran last month at Charlotte County Motorsports Park on
June 28th and all the fans got to meet and greet every driver and get
autographs. The
34 of Blake Koch out of West palm Beach set fast time in qualifying with a
15.100 but the winner of the 100 lap feature was the returning to action
“Hollywood” Mike Franklin out of Homestead. Who will be here this sat July 26th
to race 100 laps of action packed racing you wont want to miss this.
also running for 50 laps will be the Fastrucks for the third third leg of the 6
pack champion race who saw Stephen Nassi out of Pinnelas park take home the win
last time out.
Mini Stock will run for 25 laps along with the fan favorite backbone class the
Road Warriors. and if that is not enough to get ya to Come out this Sat. night
to Charlotte County Motorsports park, the TQ midgets will be here. With a real
close points battle( 26 points between 1st and 3rd) this could be a barn burner! Jack Duffy leads the points with Mike Elder Jr. and Geoff Styner rounding
out the top three. The past few races have seen the #10 of Ernie Teed running
well and up front, close battles and allot of side-by-side racing through the
field. The # 30 car of Mike Belsaur , #26 of Ted Durfee and Rookie # 17 Jamie
Barnum are always right there in the hunt also. Making a visit this week, fresh
off his second place run at CCMP in the outlaw modified, will be the #15 of Doug
Hopper.
If you are looking for some great,close, exciting racing…this is a show to
come out for.
Who will come out with the win or the points lead???
and the CCMP Karts will be on display with a little expo to promote the CCMP
karting program

There will be practice Friday night July 25th starting at 5pm
Sat July 26th the pits will open at 9am for open practice
Front gates open sat at 4pm
racing starts at 6pm
this week will be Chamber of Commerce Night for all of charlotte county so be
sure to come early.

yesterday before i left the track 14 late models have already called for parking and alot of activities planned for sat. The bounce house and games for the kids will be back this week.
