I know several of the A-Dale drivers were looking to race the Orlando race with the Southern Sportsman last Friday any word if they are re-scheduling?
So far Ray, I have not heard anything. But I promise if and when I do, I will make sure to post it right away. It was going to be a really good race but the track was weeping alot especially rainfalls in the corners and that is not safe for anyone. But I was really looking forward to seeing alot of old friends who were coming. But I promise, I will post it when I hear something.
Jane
Thank you Jane
Any of you guys talking about coming to the 75 lap sss race at NSS during the Governor’s cup? It would be nice to see sportsman cars from every track in florida.
45Mike says he is going to lead the first 25 laps of the race, then break. :fragend005:
Is it going to be
Brakes?
Overheating?
Distributer wire?
Belt?
Water in the fuel?
God forbid a motor?
What else am I missing?
Place your bets now.
I’m in for a few “chips”. (remember, betting is illegal)
Here are my predictions:
helmet on backwards
the Goodyears leaked flat in 25 laps
expired warrantee
next time, use an english speaking spotter
The spotters language doenst matter cause he doesnt listen to him anyways.
Good years going flat in 25 laps. Thats roughly 7 1/2 minutes under green so providing there are not any cautions he might be able to make it 29 laps.
I can’t believe you guys are giving Mike such grief… arghhhhh!!!
I am thinking the response to what went wrong would be more like he forgot to eat his wheaties that morning…
OR
Well you know, considering we are talking Goodyears… It might be that they were put on backwards (by the tire guys at the track) due to the fact they were prettier, you know all that pretty crosschecking and design on the inside of the tire…
ROFLMAO…
Sorry Mike… Couldn’t resist…
have a great night all…
On a side note, it would be AWESOME to see a whole bunch of folks from all over the state at that race… Right ED… or are you still insisting upon your extended retirement… pish posh…

extended retirement? SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII*! I wish. I am doing the best that I can to support these large multibillion dollar companies that are in trouble. Do you sense the sarcasm? Good. Pay small businesses with cash, its easier to hide.
Ed I got too give you a bit of grief considering you always are telling me you have your car just about back together… lmao…
and about that support… I just wish I have sent over my left n@t this week… not much left to send in anymore…

Its expected. I hear it from others as well. I dont like rushing things, my last car took 3 years to build.

What I posted were actual things that happened to Mike while leading this last couple of years. The helmet on backwards doesnt count because that was during qualifying.
97 Cuzzone motorsports plans on being there

Wow Ed, boneman, and flraceguy thats hitting below the belt, even though I have been lobbying for the sss races to be 40 lap shootouts. Overheating??? I have 1800 radiator on the side of my car so that never has happened. I hope to shake that black cloud over my head for this one. Ray C glad to see your coming out to nss for this one. Sportsman cars need a big (championship) type race like this every year.
Hi Ray, are you driving the car?:ernaehrung004:
That’s what a sportsman car should look like.
Go wedge bodies instead of LM so peeps will see the difference.
BTW…Sharp Looking Car!
hold it now…
I don’t think any of us would intentionally hit below the belt (wink wink)… I mean Ed’s only been working on this car for at least 10 years now… ROFLMAO… at least with Boneman we only have to wait a few months to see raced…
I shouldn’t say much, but I will be back for the beginning of 2009 at (hopefully) both tracks…
have a great day all…
PS
That 97 is very “pretty” car…
and I don’t think most “peeps” don’t know the difference between wedge and lm bodies…
Hit below the belt. Your like 8’ tall, I dont have a choice.
40 laps Mike? Lets all be honest here, isnt that pushing it a little bit.
Maybe 30 would help.
Ed… 8 ft isn’t that a little short… lmao…
but on the lap count, I was thinking, (God help us all…) that maybe 15 or 20 would be better for Mike…
what say you Mike???
lol…
Hey Mike where are you racing this week??
Have a great night all…
