John - The points payouts are impressive. Thanks for posting.

One question… Are you really sure that high points payouts are what the racers and fans want, in this economy? I don’t think fans care about the year-end payout, they just want to be entertained each time they come to the track. And yes, I’m sure the racers at the top of the point standings want the big year-end payout, but those are the SAME few who have won the majority of the race purses during the year…

I guess what I’m asking is whether most racers and fans would rather you reduce the front gate to $10, the pit passes to $20, and give racers non-reserved pit slabs for free, even if that meant a reduction and/or elimination in the cash point funds. (Yes, I saw the FASCAR change, along with many others).

As someone who has supported your track for the past two years, I am to the point where I am having to cut back on my racing, simply because the per-race cost is too much for me.

Reducing the gate and pit fees would help everyone, and might help bring some fans and/or crew back to the track.

Just one persons opinions, for what they are worth.
