Can you get this email address on the New Smyrna reunion mailing list. His name is Richard V. He is originially from NY, but has lived in the South (Ga) for over 40 years. He is new to these sites and has alot of history.

Very sorry to have missed you at Z-Hills. What a great turnout, and a beautiful day to boot. I handed out a bunch of fliers and got some pretty good responses, although not many commitments. As it gets closer, we’ll have a better idea who will be coming. I have NO doubt it will be a bigger turnout than February was, which thrilled me as it was.
Give me a call some evening when we can kick some ideas around. I like the T-shirt and dash plaque ideas, but not sure what kind of budget that would take… maybe we could figure that out together.
Also, sorry to see you had so much trouble with the Condo-On-Wheels. It was supposed to be a fun and relaxing weekend, and it looks like all you got was bad news and frustration.

Are you referring to Richie Vonderheide? I think this must be the same guy! He was the announcer at Florida City Speedway 35 years ago. An interesting guy, for sure.
