Ron Varney (of the ASA Late Models) called and we discussed the 4th of July may be a pour timing for the 2nd round of the ASA Late Model Stockcar Series because of Daytona’s 400. We called Don Reams with the Checkered Flag Sprint Car Series. He loves the idea of swapping dates. So the ASA move from the 7-4th to the 7-11-09 weekend. And the CFSCS moved from 7-11 to 7-4-09. The Sprint was here last year on the 4th of July and the place was packed!!! Sure is nice when three promoters can work together for the Fans best interest.
