never in all my years of racing have i ever heard an unkind word about anyone in the reutimann family
actually, all these panties getting in a wad kind of make me laugh.
this is a super speedway. if we were to make a list of all the drivers who have f’d up at Daytona or Dega over the last 10 years it would probably be twice as long as the list of drivers who have not.
remember last year(?) when Stewart wrecked the hell out of Hamlin, came off the track and blamed Hamlin? comedy gold.
couple years back, Mark Martin wrecked Jimmy Johnson off of the pole and they hadn’t even started the race yet. Carl Edwards taking out 3/4 of Roush Racing might have cost him the championship.
the margins are too small and the reaction times are too tight and the
track is too bumpy to be running 3 wide, 10 rows deep for very long.
fact is, there are a lot of people who are going to wind up in the wall today. and while most of the time it’s going to be somebody’s “fault”, very rarely will it have been intentional.
but hey, whatever. if it’s helping you all to loose your minds, i suppose that’s a good thing.
