George…you’d have made a good track owner.
Ron Abney Sr…your right on with thanking the track for a place to race.
As for many of the other comments…if the tracks change to suit the drivers you’ll shut down every track in america…think before you reply…
no track means you’ll drive in circles in your back yard…way too many people are forgetting businessmen are providing these places for you to race.
Ya’ll act like you deserve it or something.
And i just re read the title to this post…What would you do to change your track to make it better?
How bout…how could you HELP your track be better?
Say i own a bait shop.should i let you decide what bait i sell how much i charge for that bait and what days i’m open? Nope.
NOPE? If you didn’t listen to what kinds of bait your customers needed and the time of day they needed them. AND what days they needed the bait, you would be out of business very soon. What you and MOST TRACK OWNERS forget IS…The DRIVERS ARE the show! No cars and drivers and you WILL be folding up your track and putting up a for sale sign. No the owners can’t do ALL we or the drivers ask. BUT there is alot MORE they could be doing. And my things I talked about less classes and cut off time at 11PM are just as much for the fans. The owners other means of income.
How can the drivers be the show if there is not a facility provided for the drivers to put on the show?
your only looking at one angle and i posted my reply to see who could give a real fix that involves all 3 angles.
I used the bait shop because a good friend of mine still owns and operates a successful bait shop.
He provided the best variety of live baits and keeps up the stock of new artificial baits along with the old school supplies people still like to use.
But, His customers DO NOT dictate how much he will charge, when he will be open or anything else they so choose to change in his business to suit them.
George and Ron had good replies and i forgot to mention the fact Boneman stated how he (we) the drivers can do our part to provide a better show.
