One of the most successful chassis builders in Late Model racing is returning to his roots. Robert Hamke, of Hamke Racecars, wheeled a Super Late Model recentely during a test session at Wake County Speedway in Raleigh, NC. From what Speed51.com has learned, Hamke hasn’t lost his touch.

it would be interesting to see hamke at world series this year or the governors cup.
One of the greatest to ever build or wheel a car. I grew up sweeping his shop floor on Johnson street in the early 80’s, and was the pedal pumper to bleed the brakes on so many legendary cars to roll through his doors. I cried for a month when he moved to NC, I was just a boy back then.
Thats one old school helmet right there. HANS?
