Does anyone have any race results from various midget races in the state in the mid 70s? I know in 1976 they ran Feb 8,9 and 10 at Volusia and Nov. 5 at West Palm and Nov 6 at Hialeah. Other years they also ran at Auburndale and maybe St Pete. I just inherited some neat photos of these races but need car numbers to ID them. Any help appreciated.

I checked Dick Wallens USAC history book and could find no Florida races so I guess the midgets were an unsanctioned program.
I was at their race at Hialeah, but don’t remember for sure who won. I think it was Johnny Coy, but I would not bet on it.
Marty… I have some old Gater Racing News that has results from that era. Not sure if it’s exactly what you’re looking for, but it may help. I’ll keep my eyes open for it when digging through stacks upon stacks of stuff that I have.
