This was one of the many highlihghts that occured during the SK debacle at New Smyrna. Track security is shown blasting pepper spray at the owner of the 88 modified who was driving like an idiot with lots of people standing on the track.
To understand the frustration of the track and security, you have to see the last few laps of the feature, and the temper tantrum that was thrown by the punk who drives 88. He got beat fair and square, but couldn’t handle it, so he acted like a total a$$ by delaying the show and putting dozens of people in danger.
Too bad most of the fans were gone by this time and so few were left to see it. I will say that edm and I completely enjoyed watching this mess, and thankfully no one got hurt.
We had an incident at Ocala Speedway where a driver went nuts on the track, deliberately trying to run down another driver and a track official. In that case, a Marion County deputy on duty at the track walked out onto the frontstretch and placed the offender under arrest, charging him with assault with a deadly weapon. That incident wound up getting the driver banned form every dirt track in the state until North Florida and Putnam backed down and allowed him to race. And even more unfortunately, the guy ended up getting a minor slap on the wrist in the court system, as obviously the judge did not comprehend the severity of the situation.
It is my opinion that incidents where drivers put anyone in danger should carry extremely tough penalties, both at the track, and in the courts if nessesary. It is not something to watch with amusement when lives are in danger!
In Somolia I was an M-60 gunner on a Humvee. We would escort Ambassador Simpson to and from various meetings. Cap Stun would send us all kinds of different products to try out. I had a canister with a hose attached that I put on the hand guards of my gun. We were driving through a pretty rough part of town. There was a large stake bed farm truck full of ??? with 15+/- Somoli’s hanging off the side. The street was narrow and while passing this truck a couple of them decided to reach for my gun. I let them have it with the Cap Stun and hosed down the whole side of the truck. I looked back and it looked like a bunch of ants falling off an ant mound. The vehicle commander in the Humvee behind me tried to come over the radio but was laughing and choking so hard that he couldn’t talk. At the time I wasn’t laughing and didn’t think anything about it. Later that day we watched the video and even the stone faced platoon commander was in tears from laughing so hard.

watch any episode of COPS or Most Dangerous Chases or whatever and it’s pretty obvious that for a lot of members of the “Thin Blue Line”, the carpet doesn’t go all the way to the walls.
or he should be fired because if nss insurace’s company sees that the car going at people and the pepper spray going at a moving 2 wrong and 2 wrong don’t make a right that car owner should be banned also
Glad you guys like my picture. It is my favorite that I took at the World Series. I finally have all of mine posted to my web site if any one would like to check them out. Also a night of WOO at Volusia and the ARCA race.
