Nineteen cars took qualifying time, with Jeff Scofield, showing no ill affects from yesterday?s practice crash, sets fast time for tonight?s Sunoco FAST 100 with a lap 16.961 seconds (106.314 mph) in car no. 86. Series point leader Wayne Anderson clocked in at 16.999 (105.889) for second fast, followed by Steve Dorer (17.083 sec./105.368 mph), Brian Finney (17.090 sec./105.325 mph), Austin Kirkpatrick ( 17.122 sec./105.128 mph), and Todd Allen (17.204 sec./104.627 mph). Follow the leader for the most part. Dorer did a good job coming up through the field but that was about the only passing most of the night.
