Does anybody have, or hear of any like; don’t eat peanuts in the pits or don’t wipe the roof off on race day…:sport009:
Green cars and the #13!
To me there is no such things as superstitions. There is no such thing as momentum or good luck or bad luck. It is what it is. You put yourself in a position to win you put yourself in a position to lose. There is way to much stuff to worry about already than being worried about silly superstitions. I believe in a strong faith in God and as long as I have him riding with me superstitions just really don’t matter.
I never had any but Randy Warren woulda killed you if you ate peanuts or wore green anywhere near his car!!
It isn’t wearing of the green… NEVER have a green racecar… Have purple, pink, orange, white with pink polkadots, just NOT green.
i won a championship and did decent this year with a green car.
There are one or two that I keep in mind. Before every race, I suggest everyone grab Donovan Ponder and give him a big “noogie” on the head. Also, I have found it is bad luck to send flowers and romantic cards to the tech mans girl. There seems to be some truth in the old saying about never allowing someone eating peanuts to put 80 psi. in your right front tire (pavement only).
It an’t the peanuts,it’s the shells*,don’t get them in your car or pit [ any car],Creg LOL at me years back when I told him not to do that and clean’m out of his racer,he didn’t,then the racer blow up and on his way home so did the tow car,a bad nite. He don’t do that any more:ernaehrung004: eat all ya like just clean up.
Car Numbers that read upside down, like 66//99,10 or 100 or 88 ect are a bit less lucky for some.
Build a racer with what ever $ ya find under the seat still in it some were.
Hell Rex… I would be more worried about 80 in the Front Left just after they dropped your right front to 7 or 8…
ROFLMAO
Unlucky
I heard that it is very unlucky to be superstitious.
Never the less I always park in the same spot in the pits when possible.
Follow the same routine each time I got in the car, helmet first , gloves next, goggles last. Several others I can’t remember at this moment.
Nothing green!!! Shirts, tools, cars. Peanuts in the pits. Change in your pocket. Thats all I know.
