what kind of machines are you using for boring, honing,surfacing and head work like seats and guides.
its subed out to harlod’s he has been doing this over 40 year good old guy know all the tricks even bore each piston to a cly seeing each pistons might just be a hair or two off. i just put everything together, i dont own all that big dollar machines there really aint enough people buying to justify buy them when i get a really good deal where i sub out too. i use all new part will only use old stuff if someone want me to save them alittle
what kind of pistons u put in a ss engine and do you balance ur self or sub that out also. part numbers of pistons. cast, forged, hyper or ?
hyper kb i use new crank and rods it comes all balanced crank is eagle or scat crank about 48lbs with SIR RODS AND THE HEADS ARE BASE ON WHAT THE TRACK CAN RUN i know you build motors and dont do all the work boring and all but i know my motors well and there good i know the doff. in a 603 or a street motor and what ci size motors are with differnt stuff done to them im not on here to fight with you i dont talk shit on your posts you build your stuff and ill do mine i got two superstock motor out there for this new year that will talk for them seleves
I have 7 engines left smart guy try to remember all the work you have done when you aren’t reading off the build sheets. I took the engine in on trade as a 603 with vortec iron heads guess I got fooled but I have cleared that up.

OK how about you sent me a pm as racing22 asking me about my clearances and camshaft to run at NSS so I just will let you know I use the same name on here and don’t need to ask for help choosing a cam or clearances. OUR combination won a points championship in SS at new symrna two years ago after he blew up five other engines I hope one of those five weren’t yours. ALSO all we sub out is the spin of the balancing we polish and measure all our big and small ends first file fit rings weigh and lighten pistons then give him the bob weights and he spins them for us. Everything else is done in house.
then you must work for express engines cause that who builds bobbys and scott motors i know both of them guy they are three people do engines here and we all use this name yes mine is racing22
thats funny last I knew bobby and scott had john putting there engines together and express just does all the machining but guess I was wrong. Good luck in your builds, three guys engine building.
