Eastbay changing tire manufacturer?

Is there any validity to the rumors of eastbay changing from hoosiers to Goodyear tires for 2011? I have heard this from a couple of different people, just want to know if there is any validity to it. Thanks guys

It Is True!!!
Goodyear For Next 3 Years.
Prices Are Cheaper.

boooo!!!

:grinser010:boooo!!!

BOOOO to you too!!

cheaper in price and quality so expect to buy more haha

fact is, when have they ever done anything for the racer? NEVER! there’s a reason they switched, and when. has nothing to do with trying to help us.
good year sucks as a dirt tire! always has and always will. if it were to help drivers, dont you think they would have asked at the end of the season? instead of oh by the way we now run good years. they wont loose a 100 cars over the deal, but they will loose respect and thats what starts the land slide! my main sponsor deals hand in hand with hoosier everyday, so i had a choice to make, keep my sponsor and go somewhere else, or loose them and stay mud boggin racin. you see, the tires are just the iceing on the cake! oh well i hope they open there eyes and relize before its too late.

And besides that they lowered the Outlaw4 to 1800 lbs. Some one will get hurt.
I like how a chassis builder can go to them and say ha lower the weight so I can build liter cars and they do…maybe a kick back on the deal???The track said they had a rules meeting,we told them it is funny that no one in the top 10 in points last year was advised on a meeting…If it was not so much trouble I would change over to pavement for awhile, alot move tracks to run going that way.

like i said. its all about them and a select few. i love eastbay but, not right now!
seems to be getting worse. lower the weight limit, you know why? to many outlaw4s were going else where!!! thier tryn to make it harder for cars to run elsewhere. how about run your track so well people dont wanna leave!!!
start by letting the tech man do his job! if he makes a call it should stand! not al come down and over rule. it is what it is! there will be mistakes, but stop under minding your staff!!!
