I made 10 nights at 4 tracks…and had a great time! Too bad I didn’t get to race at all, but that has to wait for the regular season when they run the local stuff.

I didn’t get a single rain out, in fact the weather was great for most of the last two weeks. I know Ocala lost a night, and I think East Bay did too, but in the big picture it was not much of a factor.

Best dirt race? Steve Kinser winning the WoO sprints at Volusia.

Best pavement race? The tour mod 50 lapper at New Smyrna on Wednesday, 2-17.

There were no driver injuries anywhere I went. In fact, were there any short track injuries at all this year?

It sounds like the World Series closed out with another tech uproar…we’ll see what comes out about that.

I hung out with lots of good friends and saw a ton of good racing. Oh well, real life calls; back to the bills and lists, and I’ll rebuild the tattered remains of a marriage torn apart by two weeks of racing!

I would be sleeping in the barn if I went 10 nights. I got to go on “V day” but I had to make other sacrifices.

I went 3 nights to two tracks.

best race? toss up between the ACT race and the Woo late model race last night. Probably the ACT race, the Woo had a very slow start.

Every night! Sat on the edge of my couch and watched tv. Been that way for 2 years. Saved a lot of money. Both entry fees and $ for tires and gas for other peoples cars, that didnt appreciate it anyhow!!

Wow, what a horse’s ass that guy is…anyway, 2 nights watching great shows at New Smyrna, and we finally raced our SLM at Citrus County Speedway last nite!

The less people pay attention to him the more he’ll realize how inconsequential he and his opinions are.

Rarely…and by rarely I mean maybe once or twice out of 661 posts, has this guy ever put forth anything worth the time it spent to read it. About a third of the time he tries to remind everyone of the fact that he is forever through with trying to help ungrateful racers with their expenses.

Boo fucking hoo already.

You weren’t the first and you definitely won’t be the last to feel like you didn’t get your money’s worth from sponsoring a race car. Move on already. Find another ax to grind. And I don’t mean the other two-thirds of your posts when you try to bash Rex but, in all actuality, it’s more like an incoherent drunk who keeps falling over against you on the subway. You can’t wait for your stop and you feel like diving out the window to get away.

Just ignore him and maybe someday he’ll go away…hopefully.

YOU GUYS SURE KNOW HOW TO SCREW UP A GOOD THREAD…

Anyhow… just went to the Thursday All-Stars/UMP Modified show at Volusia, the Wednesday Legend Car show at Auburndale and went to the Daytona 500for the first time since 1989…
However, the week at the ISC Archives was awesome as I got to chat with Donnie Allison, Marvin Panch and Ned Jarrett among others…

made it to NSS every nite thanks to very good friends and the ability to work on cars in about every division at the World Series… FL/IMCA mods, a tour mod, a Super late, and a LLM.

Again thanks to good friends at the race track without you I would have never been able to make it to one night…

Looking forward to the season… Hopefully the week goes well and I might make it to Lake City this weekend…
