I KNEW Boney was bucking for a promoter position!!

Don, this seems like as good a time as any to break the news: I didn’t buy Bronson, but I did buy USA Intl. in Lakeland. I’m reopening it, and THIS TIME it will be run right.

By the way, I don’t want to be a promoter; I couldn’t handle the life of poverty. Now an office like “Statewide Racing Commissioner”…hmmm… maybe!

Ken Sands is not the new owner of Bronson Motor Speedway. The new owners are Chris and Ann Young from Long Island, New York.

Chris is a longtime modified competitor in NASCAR tour type modified racing at Riverhead Raceway in Riverhead, NY.

I spoke with Ann recently and I am working on a story about the Young’s acquisition of Bronson and what their plans will be for 2011 and beyond.
