Super Late Model racing in the state of Florida

2011 looks to be a good year for Florida Racing except for a few of my observations !!

  1. Race track and race teams should not be in bed with each other; it will reduce car counts, and cause a false sense of favoritism. When a team is too involved in a track and rules it is not a good thing for racing?..

  2. Tires? Looking real good this year, except for one track?? Let?s all get on the same page? Same tires, same rules!! No soaking, all impound??

  3. Engines? If you are going to make a Florida spec engine weigh 2850 lbs, you must cam doctor, and compression test the crates, let?s get real!! Too many 500 hp create engines in Florida, 100% sure?? Florida spec engine rules are the best in the country, why are people still trying to scew them up??? We cant have every billy bob engine shop in the state building spec motors, if you are that ate up with having your engine built by an unapproved builder, drop down a couple classes, they allow that in the street stock class, I believe?..

  4. Safety, this should be number one?.. Ambulance and fire truck, with trained professionals at all races?period. If you can?t afford it, close the doors, Driver safety has to come first. Nitrogen Bottles?? Why are tracks allowing people to carry around nitrogen bottles with no halos around the top?? I have some road racing in my background, and this is unheard of. When one person gets killed from one bottle, it is not going to be good for racing?.. Tracks are getting way to lax??

  5. Finances. Stop nickel and dimeing the racer, tracks need to make more profit on the front gate, not the back gate. Less expensive for racers, means higher car count, which equals more people in the stands, which equals more profit for the tracks?. Hello?.. can you hear me?? Business class 101.
