For those who would love to see some of the best dirt late model racers in the country go at it this Friday night at Ocala Speedway, but think that the admission price is a bit steep, here are some facts for you to consider:
If you check pricing for World of Outlaws Late Models shows across the country, the price range for adult single admission tickets runs anywhere between $30 and $70, depending on the venue and the event. That means that the $30 admission at Ocala is at the very LOW end of the price spectrum, and therefore an excellent value for this type of show.
Your $30 admission is an “ALL ACCESS PASS” that admits you to both the grandstand and the pit area for the night. In other words, you are purchasing what amounts to a pit pass and can watch the best of the best prep their cars for the races, watch as they make changes for heats, B mains, and feature events, and watch them load up and leave when the night is over. And in addition, you have full access to the racers as well, including the World of Outlaws Late Model drivers and our local and regional stars like Ivedent Lloyd, Tyler Ivey, Christian Augspurger, and more.
And in case you are not aware, this is the FINAL World of Outlaws Late Model show in Florida in 2011, and therefore the last chance to see them live and in person without travel involved.
Its my job to keep everyone informed, and now you know! For more info, visit www.OcalaSpeedway.com, or call the track at 352-622-9400. Gates open at 5PM this Friday, qualifying starts at 7PM, and heats begin at 8PM.
