Everyone gets older, everything changes. Maybe this doesn’t mean the end of the track.

Definitely not, but this particular race track in not floating in success, can tell you that.

I grew up 45 minutes from this track I hope it will continue to be a race track.

This track has had it’s share of ups and downs over the years.

I lived fairly close also, not sure if I ever went or not. Usually when I went to the races it was to Beach Ridge Speedw, in Scarboro. Theres a track that always did well and still is.Pretty much jammed crowd fri AND Sat nights. They run 4-5 races and its over by 9-10 P.M.While the winner is celebrating in victory “lane” the next race is all staged behind pace car in turn 4 ready to go.
Heck they don’t worry about cup races on T.V., you’re almost home in time to see them too.

I grew up going to Beech Ridge. That and Oxford were the tracks I spent most of my time.

Yeah Mocha, a lot of track owners could learn a lot by goint to Beach Ridge. Like i said, wife and I went there 3-4 nyrs ago, fri night. Racing started about 6 I believe. 5 or 6 races, GOOD races, over and done 9 P.M. Cant remember admission price, it wasnt a special event, but was cheap. maybe $10. Place was packed. I thought then, these track owners in FL should talk to these people. Track been there 50 yrs that I know of. Remember Gardner Laevitt racing there? His son Steve worked for Yates, has his own shop in So. Carolina. Steve Letarte, Jrs crew chief, came from the area, Cornish Maine.
