I have 2 original NR2003 racing sims by Vivendi. One box was opened to inspect, the other was not. Neither one has had the discs put into a computer. These are original liscences, the boxes have a slight hole on one end, can’t remember why, but it’s just the outside of the box.
If you are not familiar with it this has been the most realistic racing sim available and allows you to race set ups, realistic views, even the windshield gets dirty. Force feedback and surround sound, eye candy, realistic dynamics. All the big tracks programmed into it. EA sports bought out the head programmer and got Nascar to give them exclusive rights, pissing off the entire racing sim world.
They called it a game but it does not play like a game it’s set up to be real. Spotters and everything. Which is probably why EA sport messed with it.
Last year these went for around 650.00 each. I am looking for 200 each obo.
I believe these are still used for some racing leagues on line running for money. Serious sim not some EA sports game. Computer will run 43 cars.
I have 2 back ups originals for myself and a stand alone computer set up for these and have been having fun with them for years, wouldn’t let go of them for any reason. Runs Daytona and Tally with the draft, 43 cars, the short tracks, the works. Feels like the track with no G force pushing down but the bumps are there you can feel it in the wheel (logitec force feed).
I have run against either Tony Stewart or one of his crew on this thing on the Daytona track, don’t really know which but I know it was coming from his race team. Most of the cup guys are reported to have this.
Let me know I want to sell these to get some cash for the real deal and move up from spectator racing (lol). Would certainly trade for a champ kart or to help me get into minicups!
Let me know if there is any interest out there, or if anyone else has it and what they think of the sim.
