What is your opinion for Drunk Driving in MLB
So far this year the MLB already had six players, Austin Kearns, Kennedy, Miguel Cabrera, Coco Crisp, Derek Lowe and now Shin-Soo Choo all arrested for DUI and we are only 30 games into the season! At this pace we will have more than 32 guys arrested for driving under the influence and these are only the guys who are getting caught!

First off, we’ll need to know if they are Christians or not and then a full political history of who they have supported and why will need to be evaluated then debated and lastly…you really need to mention CW somewhere in the body of your post to guarantee it’s validity as a pertinent discussion subject.

What kind of question is that anyways??? Like someone is gonna get on here, and say “I think it’s great! These poor, over-stressed guys just struggling to make a living, should have the authorities looking the other way when they break the laws. The rich and famous should be allowed to do as they please, as they are the ones who entertain the rest of us. I think there should be MORE of these incidents. We need all the sporting news we can get”.
What we really need is a group of Judges who will slap these famous people with everything they’ve got coming to them. Toooooooo many people get to slide just because of their fame or fortune. No need to look any further than the France family in Volusia County. To my knowledge, the cops have already swept under the carpet (for the France family members):
Drunk driving
Wreckless driving
Cocaine possesion
Marijuana possesion
Resisting arrest, without violence
Fleeing and eluding
Speeding (over 100 MPH in a 35… on a BRIDGE no less)
And the punks that did most of these violations, had the balls to tell the cops “You don’t know who you’re messing with. We’re France’s and we OWN this town”.
Obviously, they were right… no charges against any of the 3 that I know of.
They should encourage the players to drink during the games. Maybe that would make the sport more interesting? They probably wouldn’t get many hits, so let them use a “T” like the kids do. It would be funny to see them bat and then go staggering off toward third base: outfielders asleep, more fighting, etc…
The players will still be scratching and spitting, but if they are drinking they can also belch and piss.
The umpires should be drunk too.
