Great job, do you guys even bother to look at other tracks schedules or do you just not give a sh*t? Late Models have been on our schedule for June 11th. After all my years of being in this it still never stops amazing me…
:fragend005:Some people don’t care. Just as the last few owners down there, run when and what i want to, and hurt racing, then when they run out of money, bail out and run.
Open communication between track owners is vital for tracks to benefit on car counts. Fighting over conflicting schedules is counterproductive. Tracks lose, drivers lose and fans lose. No win situation. The track that posted the date for the divisional race first takes precedence. Dividing a racing division like the super late models will not provide a high car count, a good winning purse, or as good of a show for the fans. Open the lines of communication, put differences aside, a show some business diplomacy. Everyone will benefit.

Punta Gorda Speedway has had this date on its schedule since the beginning of the year. We waited until the United Track Alliance released its schedule and then we posted our Goodyear 6 pack challenge races that has the highest paying purse for a late model series in the state of Florida, its not a weekly show. We have only 6 Super Late races for the entire season and the dates have been out since February 2011 and have not changed. We are sorry for any inconvenience
Greg, I don’t think there was really a need for you to reply. You guys just keep doing what you are doing. You are doing a great job. With the “alliance” tracks all trying to work together it doesn’t leave many weekends for the rest of the tracks. The alliance has 45 races slm races scheduled in a 35 week spanned. Many of them on top of each other. And that doesn’t include DeSoto. I can’t check there schedule because their site isn’t user friendly and can’t access with Apple products. With DeSoto schedule it is probably over 45 races in 35 weeks. Here are some of the dates that the alliance has slm races races on and I did not even look at the llm races they have.
Rick and Gene. WTF. Are you guys trying to help??? The alliance has all but 2 or 3 weekends scheduled from now until December. PGS did not schedule against the FUPS. What more do you want them to do? Really??? Heck the alliance trachs can not even not schedule on top of each other.
Sounds like Mr. Anges and Mr. Sarppraicone needs a " chilldo"… If they worried about their own track instead of the one south of them they would probably have more than 5 cars per class…
