Lake City Speedway will race on Friday nights effective Friday September 2. There have been numerous requests to try racing on Friday nights. The schedule/divisions will remain the same. We hope to see everyone at Lake City Speedway!

This just might work. Yes, sure, there might be some deductions, or detractions, but in the big picture, the Friday night thing just might work. I hope so.
It’s nice to see another Friday night track going into business, and this will join Orlando SpeedWorld, and Volusia County Raceway for their share of Friday night fans, and cars/teams.

This move has my full support as well. It’s been talked about all season and is finally being done. It should not only work for Lake City but also Bronson, which in my opinion should have opened on Friday, but also North Florida Speedway. We may get some cars from Citrus and North Florida as well as Georgia. Friday night High School football and this economy may be a factor, but that remains to be seen.
The new starting time of 8pm will help people to get off work and make it to the track. This worked for Ocala Speedway, so why not Lake City. :ernaehrung004:
