OSW last night

What happened to Anderson? What happened to Bass? And last but not least, what happened to Rex? Thanks!

I think Anderson had something break in the rear end… They brought it into the pits and tried fixing it twice to no avail…
Not sure the DQ on Sean but probably had something to do with his retaliation at Tim Russell for Russell running him up the track twice… He could have done the same to Scofield who basically just drove in front of everybody for 100 laps and also ran Sean up the track when Bass got outside of him…
Hated to see what happened to Jake Perkins’ car all because of someone else’s stupidity… Jake did an excellent job coming home third…
Fastest car on the track, at least early on, was Brandon Johnson but he got involved in a couple of incidents and dropped out… Joe Winchell was fast too and also an innocent victim of someone else’s wreck…
OK field of cars (21) and OK race… Only three Sportsman cars (that was dull) but the Super Stock race was pretty good and had a nice field… Strictly Stocks as usual dominated by the RWD “Bomber” cars that are far from being stock, but the highlight of that race was the guy running a Geo Metro!
Best part of the night was seeing a lot of old friends… Sat with Danny Shearer during the races… he pointed out to me that the Super Stocks were what Sportsman cars looked like just a few years ago…
Speaker for the turn three grandstand wasn’t working… oh well, what else is new…
Boneman showed up late, totally unprepared, made a lap then realized he had the spark plugs in backwards!

Oh my aching Tuna!!!

Typical late model/super late model touring race. Block, block, block… A couple of fast guys waited some did not. Some tried to pass by driving through people. Oh well
Strictly stock highlight was the Chicken Pit Special and the lights blowing out in turn two. Not sure what people were thinking running through the pit with a jack handle…

I’m tired of the wreck fest most LM and SLM races have become. Someone has a pile of money to throw away. Guess it keeps the fabricators working. I’m really starting to think the strickly stocks and super stocks are the best going right now. Last week at DESOTO the Pure Stocks put on a great show. I wonder how they compare to FASCAR strickly stocks?
