Don’t get to watch any races right now at home because they’re on cable but since it was rained out yesterday got to watch the Watkins Glen Cup race at work… Not a bad race and pretty interesting throughout…
Great job by Marcos Ambrose to become the fifth new Cup winner this year and the first-ever NASCAR winner from Tasmania… Nice to see Richard Petty Motorsports and crew chief Todd Parrott get back in the win column…
How about that wreck on the last lap… Boris said loses his “head” and sends both David Ragan and David Reutimann for a ride… They were both lucky to get out OK… Same for Denny Hamlin earlier…
All you Rowdy Busch fans can celebrate too - he’s the new point leader…
Dang it all… Too bad I missed it again… Glad I was working on a car during the rain out yesterday… Would have loved to seen the race… But alas, working on a truck and a car today…
Have a great day all…
Very wild race, including the last lap. 3 lead changes in a green-white checkered finish, 1 flip, at least 3 cars demolished, a first-time winner (15th different winner this season, 5th first-timer).
Kyle doesn’t get much mention as a road-course guy, but he did almost everything right today. Keselowski is proving to me he’s got some serious intestinal fortitude, with another great race while running injured.
Well worth viewing the replay I’m sure will be aired sometime this week.
I purposely left out most details, as you really should see this for yourselves…
Very glad to see Ambrose and Petty win, much deserved.
Like A.J.Almendinder said after qualifying, “If Kyle gets a little more practise he’s gonna be good at this”!
What Boris said…
Just caught Sportscenter and heard what Said said after the race regarding Biffle. Hilarious!!! Anyone know Biffle’s address?? LOL!
I happen to like Boris, but he reminded me of Gordon and Harvick, big bad guys when they leave their helmets on, yeah, they go right after ya with that helmet on, what a joke!!! I’m sure he might be able to hurt Biffle, who couldn’t? But he’s about the only one he could hurt.
