GOoooo NASCAR GOooooo!!! Remember is’t HOT LANTA were Brad got his flying lesson from Carl(he’s in the Blue Goose)!!!:auto003::auto003::auto003::auto003::aktion033:

Not a Gordon fan but maybe…

Love him or hate him, I can’t go against Kyle. Of course I’d love to see David get the win. billy

With you Billy, David is due. Anyone know how he did last night??

Yeah it would be cool.

David has had a tuff year it would be cool if Rutty could pull it off.

But could people stand the fact he drives a Toyota???

David started 9th, and finished 4th. The race was another demolition derby. Because Bubba didn’t want to send any cars home, he started all 31 cars. The original plan was a 50 lap, or a 50 minute time limit race. After about 30 minutes they had completed about 10 laps with what seemed like 10 cautions, after about 1 hour and 10 minutes they were at lap 24. Finally they decided to race to 40 laps, the race took 1 1/2 hours. Two cars rolled over and many more left the track on the wreckers. The worst part of the race was the dust, if you didn’t have goggles on it was terrible. The wind was blowing towards the stands and with 31 cars it seemed like a dust storm all race.

I wouldn’t care what he drove as long as he won. The Reutimanns (all of them) are the best in my book. billy

I wouldn’t care either Billy. I don’t really know the Reutimanns but like the way David handles himself. He’s had some good runs and had his share of bad luck. Lots of times from running back in the field. But I think he’s doing better and wlii get a win soon. In a little better equipment it might of happened sooner. Trash, if itbwas that dusty I’m kinda glad I didn’t go, wife would of suffocated. But we’ll be at Desoto for the Sprints.

Tuna, do yourself a favor and do some research on Buzzie Reutimann. I doubt that you’ll find any bad words aimed toward him or any one in the family. The whole family is as classy as it gets. billy

what Billy said… actually Tunaman, David does have two Cup win’s, He has one each at Charlotte and Chicago, but none this year.

I was told that they put 18 truckloads of new clay on the track this week. I will say this, it was alot smoother than when we were there a few weeks ago. The dips were pretty much gone, so it was much better. Maybe the new clay is why it became dusty though, it didn’t have much moisture worked in, and this caused it to dry out dramatically. I know next time i will have a pair of goggles with me just in case.

Billy, I never said anything against Buzzy, I always thought the Reutimans were class act people. A good friend of mine from the Nascar Northern ranks knows or knows of Buzzy, even though Buzzies from the dirt and Bobby aphalt. Hope you didnt thing I was saying anything negative about them. Plus, just the favt you and trash like them is reason enough to “Reut” for them! LOL! Trash, I had forgot about his 2 wins, hope many more come.

Weather won again. Mother Nature can be mean!!!

Guess we all have to wait till Tuesday’s 10:00am start. Be sure and sent your DVR’s!!! It will be tough on the Teams to get ready for Richmond.:frowning:

rain

well the mother wins one more :grinser010:

Tuna, You only said “you really didn’t know the Reutimanns”, and I was only saying I thought it was worth while to do some research on Buzzie, since he’s the best known of them. I find it interesting to read about anyone that’s a “self made” icon in the racing business. So many come from rich families and are just handed a car to drive. The story of the Reutimann’s is almost like rags to riches. No, I wasn’t trying to say you said anything bad about them. Sorry if I worded it badly. billy
