Friday Qualifying- Fall Nationals At RPM Speedway Hays Ks.

The Fall Nationals got under way Friday with 203 cars in the pits. This race has the smell, look, and feel of another big IMCA race held up Iowa way.
You could call it, the 1/2 Boone Nationals and not be disappointed.
The new national champion in the A-Mod class is here, the top 3 finishers in the Sport Mod class are here, several former national champs are here

Besides the racing Rolling Plains Motor Speedway is a gem out in the rolling hills of West Central Kansas, even though it is 5 years old it still has that new track feel, and the crew that runs it shines in their own right, putting 203 cars through the qualifying races and being out the door at 12:00, great job guy’s.

Races start at 3:00 today Saturday, if you have not planned on coming, change your plans, get in the car and come to Hays Ks., you will not regret it believe me, very racie track with a lot of guy’s in each class that can win their class, their will be some great racing. Enjoy.

sounds like the good old days!

do we even have 203 modifieds in the state of florida? much less at one track. would be interesting if it happened

The most I’ve seen here in Florida, was (I think) 137 UMP Mods at East Bay during a Winternationals. Impressive sight.

i think that volusia had around 100+ during speedweeks at some point.i was thinking pavement modifieds for some reason not dirt too.D’oh!
