LANGUAGE WARNING! Recorded by Jon Adams. NASCAR owns all the rights to this video. But here is the amazing footage I got from the last race of the season at Homestead 2011 season.
[B][I]Seems every week there is someone doing or saying something out of the lines. NASCAR’s always having to keep a strong hand onthe SPORT!
GOoooo NASCAR GOoooo!!!

i also blame the media. they thrive on sensationalism and approach drivers when they know darned well they are in a hostile mood. Kurt asked the guy to leave a few times and finally got really P/Od… I met Kurt a couple times and he is really a very nice guy. friendly and funny. if the person doing the interview was concerned about the vulgarity he could have avoided it. like i said. sensationalism. but that doesnt excuse Kurt. Looked like he just wanted to be left alone. i wasnt there so i dont know all the details. i just see media movin in for the kill all the time. and hate to say it but thats their job. lol PAPPARAZZI! :teufel021: when i was interviewing drivers after a race i knew who to stay away from when they were pissed… Jimmy (Cope) was one…lol but at the same time… he made a race a race! so ya have to take the good with the bad. Luv ya Jimmy…

Another thing here is, this wasnt taken ‘during’ an interview, but ‘instead of’ an interview. It was taken by someone, likely with no connection to either NASCAR, ESPN, or Penske Racing … some dude with a cell phone.
You really believe this language only comes from the Busch’s??? You’re dreamin. Your driver does it too. Kurtz biggest crime is getting CAUGHT saying things.
I imagine even The Pope could get caught saying some out-of-line statements if someone followed him around with a phone camera long enough.
You know Frasson, I’m not really sure who you are, but i enjoy following your posts. Everytime I see one I tend to get a good laugh out of them! haha :ernaehrung004:

I was at a Vegas race years ago with my scanner. One of Jr.s crew lost a lug nut and caused the pit stop to be delayed about 2 seconds. I think for about 3 laps he cussed at his crew and wanted a whole new one for the next race.
I don’t ever remember his dad cussing like that over the radio. He would get in your face AFTER the race though…

u aint kiddin! ive heard just about every driver everywhere cuss. so what? i dont care for it around the kids but its my responsibility to raise them (help) not a drivers. this stuff goes on in the pits and the pits is for drivers to be drivers. they arent there to entertain us. they are there to work so they can entertain us on the track. i love visiting drivers in the pits but you have to respect!

Love em or hate em … the sport needs people like em. Way too many “milk & cookie” personalities. When is the last time we all talked about how Dave Blaney needs to keep his mouth shut ?
Its a struggle to stay awake for most Nascar races as it is…leave the clowns, and big mouths alone.
The Drivers are independent Operators that sign a contract with NASCAR. There are rules that you must abide by. The “BOY’s HAVE at IT” and the weekly pushing the line keep the printing press running!!! GOoooo NASCAR GOoooo!!! Keep selling tickets!!!

What appears ulteroir motive “OH SAVEY ONE”???
I have no doubt that most, if not all of the drivers can and do ripoff some unsaintly verbiage. This case, though, is directed at one of the most respected reporters in the garage who did NOTHING to deserve it. If it hadnt been a repeat offender i might feel differently. This isnt a case of questionable journalism - its a case of an asshole being an asshole and getting caught.
As was pointed out, the “MF’er” comment wasn’t directed at Jerry, but rather, at the cameraman. However, the “s***” comment was directed at Dr. Punch. You have to keep in mind, that this YouTube video (most likely) was shot with a smartphone, not some studio camera crew.
I guess ol’ Mr. Excietment’s punch in the face a few years back did nothing to settle this Buschie-boy down at all :-/ All Kurt had to do was POLITELY decline the interview until things (he) calmed down a bit.
And no one has ever heard this before? Whether or not your a driver, crew,or fan you’re hallucinating to think people don’t speak this way in heat of the moment. There are no scripts in this sport
There are times and places that this sort of conduct should not happen. A responsible adult, in the public spotlight that Kurt Busch and other NASCAR drivers have chosen to be in, would not act like this. Many, many people do not speak this way in the heat of the moment of any other time. Others speak this way all the time. I think it has a little to do with their upbringing. BTW, this isn’t an isolated example. Check out this video from New Hampshire, I believe and if you want there are more samples from Richmond. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVN-ruNmiSs&feature=player_embedded
Well, I understand being frustrated when something goes wrong and you’re out of a race. The cussing, throwing a tantrum etc., doesn’t bother me either. I understand. HOWEVER, to call a grown man, and especially a respected reporter a MF’R…somebody’s getting a fist in their nose. What a little puss.
i cant stand either brother, but what do you think is gonna happen when you get up in there face like that. leave them alone! the media causes most of this bs for sure.
