Attention PGS Pro And Rookie Trucks

Attention Pro Trucks and Rookie Trucks, PGS will be running heats and features again under the same rule package as last year. We would like to congratulate our 2011 Pro Truck Champion Steve Darvalics along with runners up Mark Hooven and Sam Scott, also Rookie Truck Champion Kelly Burns along with runners up Michael Atwell and Cody Martell. We would also like to congratulate Steve Darvalics, Mark Hooven and Sam Scott for their top 4 finishes in the Truckers 200, great job from the PGS drivers!!!
Just to set the record straight J&W transmissions, along with TCI circle track transmissions and any other outside transmission builders are still legal at the Punta Gorda Speedway. They have always been legal to race here with a working 10? torque converter. Also there will be a payout for the Rookie truck class at PGS this season based on the number of participants. Happy Holidays and we will see you on January 21st to kick off the season with the Super Lates, Perfect Pest Control Pro4, Road warriors, Pro Trucks, Rookie Trucks, Legends and Bandoleros. We will see you at the races.

The rules are the original rules in the beginning of the year or are they the super truck rules that was changed to at the end of the year?

The rules are the same as we had last season for an automatic trans. We have amended the rules late last year for a power glide transmission along with a standard 3 or 4 speed saginaw or munice but there is none that have showed up to race as of yet. If you would like the rules for our Pro truck class please give me your name and address i will send them to you. Thanks
