A Shout Out To Kyle Maynard for a great run at Speedfest in Cordele, GA on Sunday in the JEGS/CRA Late Model race… Started way back in 28th but kept his nose clean and finished 11th with his small-buck team out of the Ocala area racing against all the $$$ teams… Chase Elliott wins again in the race over Mike Garvey, Daniel Hemrick, Bubba Pollard and Jeff Fultz… Ricky Brooks drove in this race too and finished 10th (in a legal car???)…
Chad Pierce also made the trip up from Orlando for the CRA Super Late Model race but had problems on his second qualifying lap and did not start the race… Kyle Busch won that one over Bubba Pollard, David Ragan, Casey Smith and T. J. Reaid…
With NINE DAYS NOTICE, Watermelon Capital Speedway packed the house… see what a little real promotion can do!!
I believe Steven Nasse also got a top 10…maybe as far back as 12th.
From reading the Trackside coverage on Speed51, it looks like John Hunter Necheck may be one to watch. He led several laps, passed Kyle Busch at one point… and to my knowledge this is only his SECOND start in a full size racecar. I forget where he officially finished, but I know at one point, in coming from the back after pit stops, he and Jeff Fultz were sent to the back from a caution they were deemed responsible for. The kid will be running the 9 nights at New Smyrna Speedweeks. By the end of the week, I predict he will be in contention for at least one win, possibly more.
Also saw Ryan Moore and Becca Kasten, both winners last year, are entered for this year too.

That was supposed to read John Hunter Nemechek.
And sorry about the double post.
Congrats to my friend Kyle Maynard…:huepfen024:
I’ll bet his wife Krystal and mom Wendy are very proud too. Not to mention his 2 beautiful little daughters…
