The long awaited start of the 2012 Top Gun Sprint Series will begin this Saturday night, March 17, at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, FL. The Top Gun Sprints have a 20 race schedule with 12 events with wings and 8 without wings. In 2012 the TGSS will be at Bubba Raceway Park, East Bay Raceway Park and North Florida Speedway.
Can Danny Martin Jr. repeat as point champion, or will Mark Ruel Jr., Tim George Jimmy Ballew or Matt Kurtz be able to keep him from winning another championship? Other drivers that are gunning for him include Robbie Smith, A.J. Maddox, Rich Alexander, Terry Witherspoon, Danny Jones, Tony Agin, Shawn Murray Gene Lasker, Stephen Darvalics, Kerry Gilbert, Tim and Brandon Grubaugh, Brett O?Donnell , Andrew Griffin and Kurt Taylor.
Joining the Top Gun Sprint will be the Open Wheel Modifieds, Hobby Stocks, V-8 Thunderstocks and Gladiators. Pit Gate will open at 4:00pm, Grandstand Gates open at 5:00pm and racing starts at 7:00pm
