Citrus County Speedway Open Wheel Modified 50 lapper this Saturday night 4/7!
This Saturday night the Citrus County Speedway will crank back up the racing action with the Open Wheel Modifieds for 50 laps! Joining the Modifieds will be the Sportsman, Pure Stock, Mini Stock, Hornets, and DWARF cars. Gates open at 4pm and racing will start at 6:30, this is a new later starting time, so please make note. Practice for all divisions will also be pushed back to a 4pm starting time, instead of 3pm. The start of the season has been strong, we hope to pick right back up where we left off before the fair break.

Citrus County Speedway modified rules do apply, they are available on the speedway website at www.citruscountyspeedway.com Tires will be Hoosier 650 right sides and Hoosier 450 left sides. All cars will qualify, and then the field will be inverted based on the roll of the tracks giant foam dice. Invert will be between 2 and 6 rows. There will be a 20lb fuel burn off allowance for this race only. All laps will be run under green, caution laps do not count. Spin out rule is as normal, all cars making contact will go to the rear, unless you spin to avoid the incident. Only exception will be if a driver taps the roof to take blame, the other car(s) involved will get their positions back.
