This Sunday there will be a Car Show and Swap Meet at Showtime Speedway in Pinellas Park. Currently there are no rules posted for the Sportsman class at Showtime. I have heard through the grapevine that Robert Yoho (Showtime Track Operator) has stated that if a division shows up with 12 cars or better, the first night scheduled, then they will create a Division for that class. If you are interested in racing at Showtime in a Sportsman car then PLEASE SHOW UP ON SUNDAY AND LET ROBERT KNOW! Better yet bring your car and display it in the Car Show! One free admission to the Show and Swap Meet for every car entered in the show! I will be there with my 07 Sportsman. If you want to bring a car for the show you will need to be at the Speedway at 7 a.m… The Car Show will be on the famed 1/4 mile oval! At the very least show up and support the show and let Robert know that if he creates a Sportsman class that you will be there ready to race!

Hey Trevor. Yeah I know it’s a long haul for guys like you and Patrick Thomas from the east coast to come over if you’re not racing. For you or anyone else who can’t make it, at least contact Robert Yoho somehow (facebook, email or phone call) and let him know if you have a Sportsman and are planning on running Showtime. It will be great to run in front of a huge crowd and the Sportsman class puts on the best show of any division when there is a strong field, in my opinion.
