Modifieds at Bristol tonighton TV

Remember to set your VCRs tonight as the mighty modifieds are on Speed TV at 6:00 PM. Replay also at 10:30. Truck qualifying starts it all at 5:00. Mods should be great on the new surface.

Good luck to my friends Doug Coby and Woody Pitkat! I miss trading paint with them running Late Models at Stafford many moons ago. They may have moved on to greener pastures in the Tour Mods, but at least I don’t have to suffer through Ct winters anymore. :aetsch013:

Great To See On Tv

Go Brunnhoelzl North and South can’t get better than that.

Man a lot of cars are getting torn up!!!

Pulling for Danny Bohn, a 3rd generation racer, from NJ, who lives in NC, and runs both Dirt & Asphalt Modifieds.

This is a family that LOVES to race. And a damn nice kid to boot. Proud owner of a DBR T-shirt…!

Well the pavement pounders put on one heck of a show. Not going to say too much at this point as many may have not watched the race at this time. Now its the trucks up & running the new figuration at Bristol. Should be a good one. Keselowski going for the three wins this weekend. Doubt it from this end.

I still remember Parker Bohn running that 6 cylinder GMC, in his modified, amidst the fields of V8’s. With your eyes closed, you could tell when he went by, just from the sound. He was one of the few that had decent success running a 6.

Shiloh

Jonny Kay had a good race

Jonny did a great job with an obviously lower-funded team… Did great to miss the big wreck, then stayed out of trouble the rest of the way…

Congratulations to 5-time Rolling Thunder Modified Champion Thomas Stinson

5-time Rolling Thunder Modified Champion Thomas Stinson finished 9th in the 36 car field at Bristol on Wednesday. Our other two former Champions Joe Scarbrough III did not make the field and AJ Winstead had motor issues.

But I am proud of all of them as they belong at the next level. The Rolling Thunder Modifieds understand our place in racing. It is to help race teams to get to that next level and beyond.
