Good Night for Ladies at OSW...

Sportsman with a nice field of 11 cars, Pro Trucks with nine & Strictly Stocks with nine. At least that is the amount that appeared on track. Some exciting racing along with an on track incident in Pro Trucks between the #17 & #54 as the #17 headed to Victory Lane. Congrats to Meghan in the #4 Strictly for a nice victory and Becca in the #39 Legends car. Two ladies in victory Circle tonight… One of the best moves of the night happened with the #57 Pro Truck as they lost the number one truck during warmups and headed back to Port Orange for the backup, They made it back in time for the feature, although the back up truck had issues in the feature. Class A effort by these guys. Nichols #66 and Lewis #111 were also unofficial winners.Big thanks to Gary Yeomans Ford for the $5.00 night. Very enjoyable evening at the track for this fan. Now off to New Smyrna for tonight’s show.

Lewis in the 111? That’s Donnie Williams.

It’s too bad you can’t get results anywhere. Would love to know the Sportsman finish.

Why did the strictly stock winner get DQ’ed ?

Did she really…? Such a nice young lady, and drove the wheels off of it to get that win. She was soooooo excited, deservedly so.

What a shame. I hope she gets another one soon… a win she can KEEP.

Hang in there Megan. Don’t know about the DQ, but the driver sure did her part.

NSS Rained Out…

Thanks for the nice comments

dd38 thats right Williams not Lewis, I’ve been mixing those names together for years. Jeff - Really sorry to hear about the DQ as she was so happy and deserved the win, drove like heck…Scott - unofficial I have 1st #66 Nichols 2nd #10 Gorham or Borham ? (you prob know) 3rd 199 Jenkins - 4th 112 ? 5th 33 Ricky Wood ,who was in a couple of spins…all unoficial #10 Derek Wood was out early with car probs. dd38 only 5 Pro Lates #111 Williams/Lewis ? #33 Beckner #54 Harris (this may have switched at line) #7 Mark Martin car but not Landers driving #14 Chase Miller …Announcer Dave… went by NSS at 2:30 in a torrential downpour, continued to beach where rain was almost stopped…walked the downtown area, a very fine mist until rain stopped at approx 3:30 …beautiful day and eve spent on beach with plenty of blue sky and sun…called track at 4:00 to find out races cancelled…quite surprised, all I can say is that the roads leading by track on way home (around 8 o’clock)were still quite wet with puddles…thusforth I give NSS the benefit of the call. btw…quite a wine festival going on in downtown NSS on Flager, plenty of people walking and loads of beach goers swimming and playing in the sand

Great Job Megan !!!
No “Look what I found victory” here ,you earned that one !!! …spring or no spring.

thanks frasson118 denman pambayer
megan jeff :aetsch013:

Thanks Denman. Good to see some other Sportsman showing up, Nicholls and Gorham are some heavy hitters. Quality cars making the trek is a good sign. I love racing at Orlando. Wish I wasn’t still torn up or I would have been there to make it an even dozen. :frowning:
