Robert (Bob) Newton, co-founder of Hoosier Tires, just passed away.
Merely hours earlier, the production scheduler, Mike Boits, passsed away, also.
I remember them both at NSS, and VCS during speedweeks. They will both be missed.
Innovators, they were, in the tire and racing industries.
Hoosiere Tire was founded in 1957, they both were there for almost all of it.
