YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PIT, HOWEVER YOU DO NOT GAIN TRACK POSITION BY STAYING OUT
Hey Mark, can I ask what the reasoning is behind this approach? The track doesn’t want to penalize a team who does not have a Cup quality pit crew; even I can understand that. But why not give a car track position if they chose to roll the dice and not pit?

Ok ill play a little
1 no soaking ? is this a impound tire race …if not throw that rule out…
2 yellow at half way? Dont u think that should be a RED and all cars should fowllow the pace car down pit road… If not then there will be cars fueling with open cans and cars going by hot…OPPS FIRE…
3 Bogus flat?? tell me more no air or some air or little hole. how big does the hole need to be?.
Sorry couldent help my self…
He does bring up some points however…I am sure the ole Don has seen quite a few attempts of getting around rules in big races…jackass or not.
I am curious if it is indeed an impound race…and secondly is the restart after the halfway point the same lineup as lap 50 or is it a race off pit row???
He brings a valid point about refueling one of these cars as well. Most of the mods have closed in trunks that require a long funnel. It would probably be better to have a five min red flag. Racer and crew safety should be the number one priority.
