racing year round

for those who stay open year round . car count will get low ,because you will burn your racers out. keeping a car up to be competive for a season is a job . they need 2 months to rebuild for next season. been there and done that.

That’s why you take a summer break. I think that’s the best thing I’ve heard of. I remember many summer days being at the track all day but to get rained out. I also think racing during the Christmas season is rough. Especially if you have small kids. Just my thoughts

Not so much rebuild the car but rebuild the WALLET!!!

2-8-12-15

We had a summer break and A lot of people rebuilt their stuff but some are tired but our car count at PG hasn’t gone down. We have had some classes down but this past week I don’t know how many cars we had but almost every pit slab was full. We are racing 12-8,12-15, and 12-29 as well as all Jan. !

What is sad is the tracks race all year because they can’t make enough money to take off.

I?m all for tracks racing year around. But make 2 seasons out of it so the drivers are not obligated to race every week in order to compete for a single point?s championship. Some have tried it and have had some success. As a driver, a single season running all year is way too long. But with 2 seasons I would have the opportunity to take a break if I wanted to and just be a fan and not worry about the points.

year round

do you do all work on your car ,or are you a helmet toter

Between me and my 2 brothers and Andy, we do ALL of our own work and we build our own cars on a very tight budget. But most peoples budget’s are tight right now. Spent several day’s last week helping finish up my sister-in-laws new race car.
