Auburndale Rescheduled for 2:00pm Sunday

Tonight’s Regal Kia-Chevy 150 at Auburndale Speedway has been postponed until Sunday at 2:00pm due to rain.

We will have Trackside Now Coverage beginning at 1:00pm on Speed51.com

Sunday afternoon race… HELL YEAH I’m in.

PS - is the entire show, or just the Late Models? Really want to see the Sportsman race. I saw earlier there were at least 22 today (thanks Speed51 & Mark for Trackside Live), and 19 Late Models, although Joe Boyd has already scratched for the weekend.

Just got home… You’ll see the Late model feature, Sportsman and scramblers. Plus the bando’s…

Thanks Backrow. Hope to see a nice crowd… I’m sure they will lose a few, but it just gained at least ONE.

Looked like a good crowd when they finally called it. 24 sportsman took time. That’s alot of cars for a track that size. Should be a good day of racing.

Can reutimann make it now

Since its sunday can david make it now? Just curious

Back in the good ol’ days, you’d see 30+ Super Late Models on a quarter-mile - for a weekly show. The big races would see 40-50-plus show up to qualify for 36 spots.

I know, I know, this ain’t “the good ol’ days” any more. I just thought the comment about a “lot of cars for a track that size” was kind of humorous.

24 cars in any division at any track these days is a decent field.

The last 2 ‘big’ Sportsman races, at OSW and now A-Dale, have each turned out better fields than most anywhere else. They might be close to pulling off a once again division worth following around. I did it in the Southern Sportsman days, and it would be great to have that option again.

With the HUGE Modified field at NSS. A few weeks ago, and all the support the Sportsman are showing… with some good scheduling, a few sponsors stepping up, the future of these 2 classes could get very cool…!

I remember 37 at Ft. Pierce BACK IN THE DAY wreck city.

Apparently, David was there last nght. He was going to participate in an autograph session. Didn’t take time though. Things were shaping up for a great race last night. Wish I could go back today.

I was with the Perkins team last night. They had both cars ready to go. Never saw or heard of David being there. Jake and his family have other commitments today, so they made a decision and pulled out last night.
I have other duties also. Playing the Santa gig as usual for the Belleview Christmas Parade at 2pm…
Very good field of cars last night and should be some great racin’ today. Good to see old friends and Jim Fenton with his son last night too.

24 car is a very good field for today. Yes I’m old enough to have seen more on the same size track but it was a wreck fest.

Hay frass, I’m going to try and make it today give me a call and we will hook up. 813 267 3710
