On behalf of the FMARA, S&S Racing Team and Myself, I would like to thank Kevin Williams, Racin’ Jason, the staff, and most of all the FANS of Punta Gorda Speedway for a great pouring out for the family and a fellow racer that passed away. John Ciolino drove the #14 TQ Midget and was a great guy, last night his family was in attendance at the track and were treated like gold. Brought down to Victory lane with the entire TQ racers and crews. Kevin allowed us(the drivers of the FMARA) to “walk the helmets” to help the family with funeral costs. We can not thank the FANS of the track enough for their donations and support. After speaking with the family and presenting them with the donations, they were so thankful to the track, the FMARA, and most of all…the FANS! Also, all of the FMARA car owners donated their purse money to the Ciolino family. Great Job Guys!!!
We honored John with the “missing man formation”, took a photo in Victory lane with all of the FMARA drivers, crews, owners, and the Ciolino family. On all of the cars, there were red and black ribbons tied to the roll cages, stickers on the right side of the cars, and Ciolino Racing shirts worn by the drivers, owners, crews and the Ciolino family through out the night.
Thanks Again to Punta Gorda Speedway, the Fans and the Staff of the race track. Jason and Kevin are stand up guys and really did a great job of honoring one of our own.
