When I first started going to Orlando Raceway in 1962, Don’l was one of the first guys I took a liking to… He didn’t mind some 10-year-old kid asking him stupid questions… I remember him being the first guy to run a Chevelle-bodied car at Orlando in 1967… that car was gorgeous… I have been lucky to call the Burkhalter family friends for many years and send out my best wishes to my buddies Chuck and Bo, Donnie and Keith Roberts and the whole group… So many good memories!!!
