Well with rain all over the area and a doubtful forecast by the weather people NSS went full speed ahead. Once again they combined the pro trucks (3) and the Super Stocks (14) for a field of seventeen which turned into a pretty good race. #77 O’Neal took the truck win and Cody Blair #51 won the Super Stocks. The Pro Late Models saw Clouser at 100.852 mph set fast time. Brandon Johnson in the #41 won the feature in a 100 lapper that had many, many different story lines. Looking forward to reading about this race when the results are posted on the NSS site. 14 Pro Lates on hand. Sportsman and Strickly Stock also on hand with 8 cars each. Mods had 5 but event started without #15 Tank Tucker. Another nice crowd for a very good evening of racing while the Super Moon shined down on the crowd in what turned out to be a beautiful evening at the half miler. Great concession specials as well. Bar-b-que sandwich was excellent. NSS continues to grow car count each time I go.(52 last night) Keep up the good work NSS!!!
I also thought it was pretty good night for NSS. fans in the stands great raceing action good job NSS.
Good to see…Both dirt tracks to the north rained out…
Based on the lack of effort in the past in getting shows in,low car counts, and last nites $20 admission,I chose to take the wife out to dinner instead.
If the positive trend continues we will be back :ernaehrung004:
Thanks for getting the results posted quickly. Looking forward to the article tomorrow. Great late model race but I still can’t get used to the #11 T&M Ranch colors being driven by anybody but Rogers. I know its a Team car, and I do like May as a driver but it just doesn’t feel the same not hearing Rogers name associated with the car. Also I witnessed the night’s special, 2 Hot Dogs, Fries or onion rings and a drink for $7.00 being consumed by many. Quite a few families were enjoying the special. Also a great run by Daniel Keene until his incident late in the race.
